Position: RN Role in Surgical Daycare at St. Paul’s
Enhance patient care as an RN in Surgical Daycare l’s Hospital. This position involves crucial pre- and post-operative support for surgical patients throughout their recovery journey.

You'll engage in assessments, develop care plans, and provide essential education to patients and their families. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll ensure patients receive personalized care tailored to their specific needs while contributing to their overall recovery and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs holistically including spiritual and psychological

• Develop, monitor, and adjust care plans as needed

• Educate patients for surgery preparation and recovery

• Respond to recovery changes with appropriate interventions

• Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration in British Columbia

• One year of recent experience in surgical settings

• Completion of the Adolescent Care in Perianesthesia Nursing course

• Competence in performing CPR as required

• Strong ability to prioritize and communicate effectively
