The John Ruedy Clinic is seeking casual nurses to deliver comprehensive care for patients living with HIV. The role emphasizes relationship-centered nursing, coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team to address various healthcare barriers. You'll engage in health promotion, patient education, and provide tailored support to foster access to essential treatments and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary and HIV-focused nursing assessments
• Educate patients on health and wellness topics
• Develop therapeutic patient relationships
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Coordinate follow-ups and referrals to related services
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with current BC practicing registration
• Two years of recent experience in HIV/AIDS
• CPR certification and STI Management training
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Proven ability in patient education and behavior guidance
