Mental Health Nurse Coastal Health

As part of a team at the Joseph & Rosalie Segal & Family Health Centre, this role focuses on client-centered care and clinical practice. You will conduct physical and psychosocial assessments, manage medications, and collaborate with healthcare providers to develop effective treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized direct nursing care and case coordination

• Conduct mental health assessments and rehabilitation planning

• Administer and monitor prescribed medications

• Collaborate with healthcare teams and family members

• Maintain accurate client documentation and engage in quality improvement

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in British Columbia

• Minimum 240 hours of clinical practicum in mental health

• Knowledge of concurrent disorders and harm reduction strategies

• Skills in crisis intervention and counselling techniques

• Ability to implement care plans and manage clients' needs
