Position: RN for NICU at Providence Health Care
Join Providence Health Care as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing specialized care at the new St. Paul’s Hospital. With a commitment to quality maternity services, you'll support newborns and families daily.

In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the NICU. Registered Nurses are expected to incorporate both individual and group teaching into their care plans while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The position requires recent experience in a maternity setting, incorporated with a focus on culturally safe care for all families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient status effectively

• Develop and evaluate individual care plans

• Provide teaching support to patients and families

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in care delivery

• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly

Requirements:

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse

• Two years recent experience in a maternity setting

• Neonatal resuscitation certification is mandatory

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work under pressure within diverse teams
