As our Landscape Construction Lead Hand, you’ll work closely with the Foreman to lead a small crew and ensure projects are completed with quality, efficiency, and pride. You’ll be hands-on while guiding less experienced crew members and helping deliver top-tier landscape projects.

• Building patios, stairs, retaining walls, fences, and stone features
• Reading and interpreting landscape plans and drawings
• Operating tools and equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and cut-off saws
• Installing water features, artificial turf, sod, and plants
• Maintaining and finishing landscape details to a high standard
• Leading and mentoring 2 – 4 crew members on site
• Supporting the Foreman in managing daily tasks and timelines
• Encouraging teamwork, safety, and quality workmanship

• Assisting with material handling and site organization
• Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment
• Supporting snow removal during winter months

• Minimum 2 years of landscape construction experience (hardscape focus preferred)
• Minimum 1 year experience operating skid steers and excavators
• Able to read and understand landscape construction plans
• Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs regularly
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Reliable vehicle to travel to job sites across Metro Vancouver
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

• Experience operating trucks with trailers
• Ability to calculate material quantities for daily tasks
• Basic digital literacy for time tracking and communication

This is a physically active role requiring lifting, bending, and working outdoors in all weather conditions across Metro Vancouver. You’ll spend most of your time on site, building and creating exceptional outdoor spaces.
