As part of the Resource Facility, you will perform essential husbandry tasks and maintain compliance with Good Animal Practices. The ideal candidate will ensure high ethical standards in caring for lab animals, keep detailed health records, and assist in various research studies while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out essential animal husbandry tasks
• Keep facility clean, following established protocols
• Conduct daily health checks and document findings
• Support technical studies with Research Associates
• Organize health data and manage supplies effectively
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in life sciences is ideal
• Experience with animal care is valued
• Strong attention to detail and timeliness
• Capability to lift up to 25 kg
• Proficient in utilizing basic computer software
