Lead Arborist: Tree Care, Pruning & Safety
The City of Vancouver is seeking a skilled Arborist IA to lead a street and park tree crew, performing pruning, planting and removal tasks with a focus on safety around energized lines. You will coordinate work, respond to the public, and train subordinates in tree care operations.
Responsibilities include operating rope-assisted climbs, using power saws, and handling chipping, cabling and bracing while maintaining records and ensuring adherence to city safety protocols.
