Join Rain City Housing as a Safety Manager focused on health and wellness. This permanent position offers a chance to implement safety programs within a social services context.

In this full-time role, you will advocate for health and safety across Vancouver’s programs. Your expertise will support senior leadership and frontline staff in prioritizing compliance and fostering a culture of safety. Responsibilities include managing the organization's safety program, supervising teams, and ensuring all safety procedures are upheld at every site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement occupational health and safety programs

• Provide supervision to the Wellness and Leave Coordinator

• Advise on compliance with safety regulations

• Conduct training and ensure timely incident reporting

• Manage safety inspections and audits

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety

• Over five years of related experience

• Professional accreditation desirable

• Strong knowledge of applicable legislation

• Class 5 driver’s license required
