IT QA Tester / Automation
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Junior or Intermediate Quality Assurance (QA) Contractor to join our team for approximately 7 months. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in software testing methodologies, hands‑on experience with both manual and automated testing, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment. You will play a key role in ensuring our products meet business requirements and deliver a high‑quality user experience.
Responsibilities- Create, manage, and execute test cases to validate business requirements and ensure product quality using various testing techniques (exploratory, ad‑hoc, acceptance, integration, regression).
- Identify, document, report, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Write and maintain test cases for functional and regression testing.
- Execute test suites across different testing phases and provide clear test run summaries.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts within an existing automation framework.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA peers to deliver high‑quality software in an Agile environment.
- Communicate test progress, results, risks, and relevant updates to the QA Lead and management.
- Perform performance testing and report key test metrics.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and testing best practices.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, including 2+ years in test automation
. - Hands‑on experience writing and executing automated tests using tools such as Selenium or Playwright
. - Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience testing web applications across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with management.
- Experience using project management and defect tracking tools such as TFS or JIRA

- Experience with API testing using REST APIs
, Postman
, or similar tools. - Performance testing experience with JMeter
, k6
, or equivalent. - Working knowledge of SQL for basic query writing.
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
