Pay: $21 per hour
Purpose
The FSQA Intern/Student provides analytical and administrative support to the Quality & Food Safety team. This entry-level role involves data collection, analysis, reporting, and documentation related to food safety and quality programs. The Associate Analyst works closely with other team members to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards, contributing to a strong food safety and quality culture.
Responsibilities Data Analysis and Reporting:
Perform basic data analysis using spreadsheets and other tools to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized records of quality and food safety data, including audit reports, inspection records, corrective action plans, and training documentation.
Support cross‑functional teams (R&D, Quality, Merchandising, Operations) to ensure specification accuracy and alignment
Maintain specification records in internal databases and document control systems
Assist with change management activities related to product updates or revisions
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).Ability to learn and use new software and databases.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of food safety principles and regulations (HACCP, GMPs).Certifications Education Currently enrolled in a university or college program (e.g., Food Science, Agricultural or related discipline)
Proficient understanding of meat cut specifications for beef, pork, poultry, and other animal proteins.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to take clear, accurate photographs for product specifications and documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Experience0-2+ years of experience
