As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will work within VCH, contributing to broad organizational goals and quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise will guide the administration of the regional Quality Assurance Program by ensuring compliance through audits and training for staff. Engaging with leadership across programs and sites is essential for supporting clinical teams and enhancing overall patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct audits and update cleaning procedures regularly
• Monitor and report on quality assurance for environmental services
• Coordinate training for aides, supervisors, and managers
• Collaborate with various leaders to ensure compliance
Requirements:
• Diploma in Environmental Management or related field
• Minimum one year experience in a healthcare setting
• Valid BC Driver’s License for local travel
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
