Become a key player with Amrize as a Quality Control Technician in Vancouver. This role focuses on concrete quality testing and compliance, supporting our Ready Mix Division.
As part of a dedicated, unionized team, you will implement and follow our Quality Control program, ensuring that all concrete complies with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) requirements. Your duties will include performing pre-pour checks, calibrating equipment, and documenting test results. Collaborate with production teams and ready-mix drivers to assure the highest level of quality in every batch.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute comprehensive quality inspections and testing
• Test concrete during batching and job sites
• Maintain detailed records of all testing
• Operate and calibrate testing machinery
• Document corrective actions for quality deficiencies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician certification
• Excellent communication skills with strong detail orientation
