Become a key player at ALS as a Laboratory Analyst investigating geological samples. This role leverages ICP-MS and AAS technology within a supportive, safety-oriented environment.
In this position, you will perform both routine and advanced analyses while fostering a commitment to quality and safety.
Your role includes instrument maintenance, QC problem-solving, and generating precise analytical reports. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential as you handle multiple tasks daily.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain AAS, ICP-MS, and ICP-AES instruments
• Troubleshoot quality control issues in data reporting
• Prepare necessary sample dilutions and calibration standards
• Document procedures and outcomes using Microsoft applications
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a tidy workspace
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Science;
Chemistry focus is a plus
• At least 1 year of experience in laboratory analysis
• Strong skills in MS Office applications
• Ability to lift and manage laboratory materials
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
