GCMS Laboratory Analyst

Position: GCMS Laboratory Analyst at ALS
Shape the future of laboratory services at ALS as a Laboratory Analyst.

Your role will encompass vital analysis processes, quality management, and ensuring timely delivery of results.

As a part of the GCMS team, your responsibilities will include executing sophisticated analyses using GCFID and performing essential data management tasks. You will support critical laboratory functions through maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety protocols. A degree in Chemistry or a related field, along with relevant experience, is preferred for candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analyses of laboratory samples

• Maintain and troubleshoot GC equipment effectively

• Schedule work and prepare necessary reagents

• Ensure that all quality control measures are met

• Keep precise records and archival data

Requirements:

B.Sc. or Technical Diploma in Chemistry is essential

• Experience with GC instruments preferred

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform manual tasks

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent communication skills in English required
