This part-time on-call position is ideal for candidates with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and substantial inspection experience. You will oversee inspections, supervise contractors, and document findings to ensure adherence to contract specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect work conducted by contractors for quality assurance
• Document results using Daily Inspection Reports
• Attend necessary project meetings to discuss compliance
• Communicate relevant inspection findings to engineers
• Monitor safety practices on construction sites
Requirements:
• At least two years of related civil inspection experience
• Clean criminal record check required
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license
