Position: Electrical QC Inspector - Contract
Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical QC Inspector for a contract position in Vancouver, BC. The contract is to start immediately and would last until the end of November 2026 with a possibility of an extension
.

Scope of work:

  • Supervision of I/O checks
  • Supervision of insulation tests
  • Supervision of cable markings etc.
  • Supervision of commissioning activities
  • Collection & verification of documentation against ITP
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection results, including any issues found.
  • Recording inspection results and any non-conformities
  • Investigating Non-Conformities identifying causes and assisting in corrective actions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with welders, engineers, and other personnel.

    • Qualifications

  • At least one of the following:
    Certified (Red Seal) Electrical or Electrical Engineer (Quality Inspector)
  • Five to ten (5 - 10) years industrial Electrical related inspection experience. Five (5) of these years should be in Quality Assurance / vendor surveillance / shop inspections
  • Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc.

    :

  • Length of contract: 2 yrs
  • Type of contract: sub-contractor agreement
  • Work schedule and hours of work: 5 days / week. Up to 10 hrs / day (Monday to Friday)
  • Pay Rate: $45 / hr. to $50 / hr.
