SGS is seeking an Electrical QC Inspector for a contract position based in Vancouver, BC. This role focuses on supervision and documentation tasks within the electrical inspection sector.
As a qualified Electrical QC Inspector, you will oversee I/O checks, insulation tests, and commissioning activities for various projects. This contract is expected to start immediately and last until the end of November 2026, with a chance for extension. Strong communication skills with engineers and welders are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise I/O checks and insulation tests
• Manage cable marking and commissioning activities
• Collect and verify documentation against ITP
• Prepare detailed reports on inspection results
• Investigate non-conformities and assist in corrective actions
Requirements:
• Certified Electrical or Electrical Engineer (Quality Inspector)
• 5-10 years of industrial electrical inspection experience
• Industrial experience in Oil & Gas, Power & Utility, or Construction
• Ability to communicate effectively within teams
• Authorized to work in Canada
