This Quality Assurance Specialist monitors quality improvement projects and implements the quality system with the QA Manager and QA Supervisor. The work covers HACCP, quality auditing, corrective actions, customer compliance, and manufacturing controls. It supports consistent adherence to Gate Gourmet, customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor quality improvement projects and corrective action systems
- Audit quality system implementation against specifications and requirements
- Coordinate actions preventing nonconformities and defects
- Maintain customer compliance resolution and quality performance metrics
- Control food safety and processing quality within operations
- Preferred college degree in a related discipline
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, or quality management
- Experience with GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and quality programs
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Strong auditing, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Use HACCP knowledge, quality auditing, and corrective action skills to strengthen food safety and compliance across Gate Gourmet operations.
