Advance occupational health and safety programs at Blackwater Mine while coordinating reporting, audits, training, and regulatory compliance activities.
Artemis Gold seeks a Safety Advisor reporting to the Supervisor - Safety at its central British Columbia mine site. This position coordinates safety data systems and ensures timely data entry and reporting. The advisor maintains program documentation, supports standards, and serves as a technical resource for department managers and line management.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain health and safety program records and documentation
- Prepare and distribute month end safety reports
- Participate in JOHSC meetings, inspections, and audits
- Coordinate health and safety meetings and training
- Monitor applicable safety regulations and codes
- One to three years of safety advisory experience in mining
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Surface Mine Rescue Certification preferred
