We are looking to have a full-time Transaction Manager join our team in western Canada! This position can be held hybrid from British Columbia or Alberta and requires an active Real Estate License.
SUMMARY
The Transaction Manager is responsible for securing new Telecommunication licenses for assigned portfolio of properties in accordance with the terms and conditions of the client master service agreement. Also renewing licenses for same.
At this position level:
- Portfolio is typically low complex, high volume
- Performs all aspects of real estate acquisition and renewal activities including but not limited to:
- Managing all relationships including client, landlord and broker. Acts as primary interface for all transactions matters
- Researching and real estate properties that align with the client’s real estate strategy and needs
- Performing market research to understand real estate market trends
- Conducting due diligence reviews
- Conducting property tours
- Conducting related analysis and preparing reports
- Executing renewal activities according to critical dates
- Conducting all related negotiations
- Coordinating and/or undertaking the preparation of all related documentations and information including but not limited to market information packages, offers to lease, letters of intent, etc
- Reviewing and negotiating related documentations such as renewal agreements, letters of intent, etc
- Ensuring accurate and complete maintenance of all transactions documentations
- Documenting and organizing all aspects of a transaction to ensure that all stakeholders have required information (eg. Notice letters)
- Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to ensure all service delivery obligations are met and executed in accordance with all requirements
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders including but not limited to clients, brokers, landlords and real estate industry professionals and legal support
- Maintains current awareness of industry practices and trends
- Other duties as assigned
- University degree required or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of real estate transactions work experience in a commercial environment
- Skilled at persuading, influencing and negotiating to achieve desired outcomes
- Highly advanced relationship management skills and ability to develop and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Strong market research skills along with current knowledge of market trends and conditions
- Current knowledge of industry practices, trends and requirements
- Knowledge of real estate legislative requirements for assigned province
- Telecommunication knowledge is an asset
- Real Estate License for assigned province
- Valid drivers license and use of personal vehicle required
- Organization and computer proficiency skills
This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $73,600 - $92,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education, professional designations and performance related to this role.
