Position: Property Manager (Residential and Commercial)

Based in Vancouver, our client is a growing real estate group steadily expanding its footprint across residential, rental, hotel, and mixed‑use projects throughout Metro Vancouver. With a strong income‑producing portfolio and a pipeline of future developments, the firm is now looking to bring property management in‑house.

Your New Role

Reporting directly to ownership and working alongside external consultants, the Property Manager (Residential & Commercial) will oversee the day‑to‑day management of an income‑producing portfolio while establishing internal property management systems.

You will manage tenant relationships, coordinate maintenance and repairs, oversee vendors and contractors, and administer leases across the portfolio. Working closely with on‑site staff, you will ensure properties are well maintained and tenants receive responsive service.

The role also includes supporting budgeting and planning, monitoring property performance, conducting inspections, and coordinating capital improvements. As the company transitions management in‑house, you will assist with implementing property management processes to support reporting and portfolio oversight.

What Sets You Apart

You bring experience managing both residential and commercial properties, with the ability to operate independently in a hands‑on environment. You are comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and balancing tenant needs with competing property priorities.

You also bring strong communication and relationship‑building skills along with a proactive mindset and attention to detail that allow you to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Experience supporting tenant relocation planning or managing properties that may undergo redevelopment would be considered an asset as the portfolio evolves. Experience with Yardi is highly valued.
