Position: Mitacs Research Review Specialist Opening

In this position, you'll report to the Director of Research and Innovation, providing vital support to Research Review Officers. You'll be instrumental in reviewing proposals, managing reviewer profiles, and coordinating quality assurance audits. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help maintain high standards in the review process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate proposals for Mitacs funding

• Support quality assurance audits for funded proposals

• Update reviewer profiles in the peer review database

• Document and provide insights for review processes

• Complete additional tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Completed PhD or equivalent research experience

• Expertise in Artificial Intelligence preferred

• Strong English communication skills;
French an asset

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
