Position: Research Assistant for Target ALS Study
Contribute to groundbreaking ALS research as a Target ALS Assistant at UBC’s Centre for Brain Health. This pivotal role combines technical support, data management, and participant interaction in a collaborative setting.

As a Research Assistant, you will provide crucial support for the multi-site longitudinal observational study at the UBC Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis & Related Disorders Clinic. Your responsibilities will include data collection, participant tracking, and assisting with research documentation. This position emphasizes adherence to study protocols while fostering a culture of respect, equity, and diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide research support for longitudinal studies

• Assist with study protocol-related activities

• Record and manage clinical research data

• Support participant enrollment and follow-up

• Maintain biospecimen and regulatory documentation

Requirements:

• High school diploma with 2 years relevant experience

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and EDC systems

• Experience in handling biological specimens preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills
