This position, under Dr. Kenji Sugioka, is ideal for candidates with a Ph.D. in related fields. The successful applicant will investigate mechanical regulation of cortical flow and contribute to groundbreaking research. Mentorship opportunities for junior researchers and collaboration with other
C. elegans labs enhance this dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead projects on cortical flow in cell morphogenesis
• Conduct live imaging and quantitative analysis
• Investigate molecular mechanisms of cell division
• Mentor undergraduate or graduate researchers
• Collaborate with other researchers on
C. elegans genetics
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Cell Biology or related field
• Strong background in genetics or developmental biology
• Experience with molecular biology and live imaging
• Demonstrated research productivity and writing skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
