This full-time Research Associate position in Dr. Filip Van Petegem's Laboratory requires a Ph.D. in biochemistry or related fields, along with postdoctoral experience. You will utilize your expertise in purifying ion channels, preparing cryo-EM grids, and performing electrophysiology experiments. Your work will actively contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purify ion channels for structural studies

• Perform chromatography for protein purification

• Prepare cryo-EM grids and collect datasets

• Process cryo-EM data for 3D reconstruction

• Train junior lab members in laboratory techniques

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in biochemistry or related life sciences

• Previous experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects

• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills

• Enthusiasm for teamwork and laboratory research
