Research Associate in Fish Physiology

This full time role requires a PhD in comparative or fish physiology along with four years of postdoctoral experience. Ideal candidates will exhibit proven expertise in fish physiology, molecular responses, and student mentoring. Your responsibilities will include developing creative projects and analyzing data to enhance understanding of gill regeneration and resection methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate gill resection and regression in Atlantic salmon

• Collaborate on various fish physiology research projects

• Participate in Zoology and Biodiversity Research Centre activities

• Develop and execute impactful research projects

Requirements:

• PhD in comparative or fish physiology

• Minimum four years of postdoctoral research experience

• Strong scientific writing and publication history

• Expertise in salmon husbandry and techniques

• Proficiency in quantitative image analysis software
