Process Development Chemist I
Join Miru Smart Technologies as a Process Development Chemist I in Vancouver, BC. Utilize your chemistry skills to optimize ink formulations for innovative electrochromic technology while working in a hands‑on role. This full‑time position requires a BS or MS in Chemistry or related field and ongoing collaboration with senior scientists.
Responsibilities- Develop and evaluate small‑scale ink formulations
- Scale up targeted formulations to 1L levels
- Create and maintain SOPs and production documentation
- Document batch records and lab notes accurately
- Ensure safety and organization in the chemistry lab
- BS or MS in Chemistry or related discipline
- Experience with chemical processing at 1L+ volumes
- Knowledge of UV–Vis, FT–IR, TGA, NMR, and GC–MS
- Robust focus on lab safety and chemical handling
- Ability to work independently under pressure
