This full-time role requires experienced leadership in planning and implementing research support activities. Directly reporting to the Associate Dean, Research, you will oversee the Office of Research's operations and collaborate with academic units. Your capability in guiding grant applications and developing research skills will be critical to advancing the Faculty's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement faculty research support initiatives
• Oversee daily operations of the Office of Research
• Manage HR-related matters including staffing and training
• Provide strategic research support to Research Centres
• Facilitate grant proposal development and compliance
Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline
• 7 years relevant experience in research services
• Previous senior management experience required
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Knowledge of university policies related to research
Drive effective research support and grant facilitation within the Faculty of Education at UBC.
