Co-op Research Assistant in Immunoengineering

Make a significant impact at Aspect Biosystems as a Co-op Research Assistant in our Immunoengineering team. Support innovative adrenal and immunoengineering platforms with hands-on cell culture and bioassays.

As a Co-op Research Assistant, you will work within a multidisciplinary R&D team, enhancing our cutting-edge platforms through 2D and 3D cell cultures. This role focuses on executing routine bioassays, maintaining sensitive cell lines, and documenting experimental findings meticulously. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be critical in optimizing assays and adapting to team priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize adrenal and immunoengineering platforms

• Maintain primary and immortalized cell lines in 2D and 3D

• Execute cell viability assays, metabolic readouts, and ELISAs

• Document experimental replicates and identify anomalies

• Provide cross-functional support within the engineering teams

Requirements:

• Student in biomedical engineering, cell biology, or related field

• Experience with sterile techniques and cell line maintenance

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with rigorous data documentation

• Adaptable to evolving team needs
