This role is ideal for individuals with a degree in Anthropology or Archaeology, looking for full-time, limited-term opportunities. You will oversee field studies, lead reconnaissance, and ensure compliance with established safety protocols. Join our cultural heritage team to make a significant impact on archaeological assessments and studies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee archaeological field studies and excavations
• Lead field reconnaissance and surveys of targeted areas
• Inspect land surfaces for archaeological resources
• Communicate with federal and provincial agencies
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations
Requirements:
• Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology preferred
• 0-3 years of archaeological survey experience
• Completed field school encouraged to apply
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
• Willingness to engage in a 2 weeks on/off rotation
