This one-year, 0.8 FTE position starts in September 2026. Candidates need a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Natural Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology and at least five years of postdoctoral experience. Strong communication skills and a proven research record are essential for success in this collaborative role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Purify natural products and conduct NMR structural analysis
• Utilize analytical and organic chemistry for experimentation
• Explore biosynthetic pathways with bioinformatics and genetic techniques
Requirements:
• Ph.D. degree in relevant scientific disciplines
• Five years postdoctoral research experience
• Proficiency in microbiology and analytical techniques
• Strong publication output and communication capabilities
• Experience mentoring and guiding emerging scientists
