The Stringhini Lab at UBC's School of Population and Public Health seeks an organized Research Scientist. This role harnesses your skills in data management, grant applications, and statistical methods such as R or Python. You will significantly contribute to various interdisciplinary projects that explore health determinants across different life stages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee multiple concurrent research projects and deliverables
• Manage and report on grant applications with precision
• Ensure data quality and manage access requests
• Conduct statistical analyses and maintain coding standards
• Draft scientific manuscripts and policy briefs collaboratively
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years relevant experience
• Knowledge of epidemiological and statistical methods
• Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to ethical research practices
