Under Prof. Julie Prytulak's mentorship, you will join the Pacific Centre for Isotope and Geochemistry Research for three years. Your responsibilities will include operating and developing new techniques using the advanced Sapphire XD CRC-MC-ICP-MS/MS. Engage deeply in environmentally and magmatically focused research and prepare for national and international presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain day-to-day operations of the mass spectrometry instrument
• Develop metal isotope measurement techniques
• Lead training sessions for instrument users
• Prepare publications and presentations on findings
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects
Requirements:
• Completed PhD in Earth Science or related area
• No more than 5 years of prior postdoctoral experience
• Clean lab experience and independent MC-ICP-MS operation
• Excellent English communication skills
• Dedication to equity, diversity, and inclusion
