Reporting to the Senior Director, you will oversee operations and administration for the Office of Research. Key responsibilities include managing staff, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing research-related programs. You will engage with faculty members to align research priorities with institutional needs and help develop organizational change strategies that foster equity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate strategic partnerships for enhancing FoM research
• Provide leadership for research administration activities
• Manage operational plans supporting faculty research needs
• Oversee the creation and governance of research centers
• Guide organizational change promoting equity and inclusion
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree and seven years of experience
• Proven ability in creating respectful and inclusive environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Familiarity with UBC's research and administrative processes
