This dynamic role at UBC's School of Population and Public Health seeks a dedicated Research Scientist. You'll apply intermediate statistical methods, oversee grant procedures, and manage multi-cohort datasets that provide insights into biological aging. Collaborating with the research team, you will also contribute to writing and analyzing critical scientific manuscripts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise timelines and deliverables for ongoing research projects
• Handle preparation and submission of grant applications
• Maintain data integrity and manage external data access requests
• Perform statistical analyses using R/Python as needed
• Collaborate on writing scientific reports and policy documents
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree and 2 years of experience
• Familiarity with statistical modeling and epidemiology
• Proficient in R or Python for analysis and visualization
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
