Lead drug candidate evaluations with Exelixis as the Director of Biologics Innovation and Strategy. Spearhead antibody-based therapeutic programs and collaborate across departments for impactful drug development.
In this executive role, you will direct the biotherapeutics group, guiding research and development in biologics. Candidates should have a strong foundation in oncology and biologics, leading projects to identify clinical indications and manage cross-functional teams. Your expertise will enrich early-stage drug evaluations and optimize pharmacology sections in IND submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead antibody–based therapeutic programs and trials
• Collaborate across internal teams and external partners
• Drive project leadership in cross-functional research teams
• Manage critical path activities for candidate nomination
• Mentor and train internal teams for lab expansion
Requirements:
• Ph.D. with 15+ years in biotech/pharmaceuticals
• Expertise in biologics and oncology required
• Proven leadership in managing ADC programs
• Experience drafting IND reports and filings
• Strong knowledge of translational pharmacology
