Join ERM as a Junior Field Archaeologist focused on cultural heritage in Vancouver! This full-time position requires hands-on experience with archaeological field surveys and compliance work.
Ideal candidates will hold an Anthropology or Archaeology degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience or completed field school training. You'll lead excavations and surface inspections, ensuring corporate safety compliance during outdoor work on diverse terrains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead archaeological surveys and field reconnaissance
• Conduct thorough inspections for historic resources
• Implement corporate Health and Safety measures
• Engage with provincial and federal agencies on findings
• Perform additional duties as required
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology preferred
• 0-3 years of archaeological impact assessment
• Prior experience in field school is desirable
• Ability to work under various weather conditions
• Must adhere to a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule
