Job Summary

The Research Assistant/Technician 2 supports the day-to-day delivery of clinical research studies in the Samuel Lab, including studies involving children and youth with kidney disease and healthy control participants. The position assists with participant identification, recruitment and consent; schedules and sets up study visits and biospecimen collections; enters, verifies and maintains research data; and supports the tracking, handling and shipment of research samples.

The incumbent works across multiple studies and collaborates with investigators, research staff, clinical teams, laboratory and biobank personnel, participants and families to ensure activities are completed in accordance with approved protocols, standard operating procedures, research ethics requirements and institutional policies.
