Working under Dr. Tamara Vanderwal, you will facilitate research addressing children's mental health disorders, primarily using innovative movie-fMRI techniques. Your responsibilities encompass technical tasks, participant recruitment, and data management, all while directly impacting research outcomes and child welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
• File applications with Research Ethics Boards for new studies
• Recruit and screen participants for ongoing research
• Organize lab activities and educational initiatives
• Facilitate study sessions while monitoring participant well-being
• Conduct basic statistical processing on collected data
Requirements:
• High school diploma with minimum two years of related experience
• Experience with child-focused clinical research and REB applications
• Strong organizational skills adept at handling multiple tasks
• Basic coding abilities and familiarity with various software
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in research practices
