This position in the Michael Smith Laboratories seeks a candidate with a PhD in a related biomedical science. You will leverage your experience in advanced imaging and mitochondrial assays to enhance understanding of cellular responses to therapeutic RNA formulations. Engage in impactful translational research with a focus on tissue regeneration and immune modulation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop models for studying cellular responses to RNA
• Execute mitochondrial assays and advanced imaging techniques
• Assess metabolic signaling pathways affecting cellular outcomes
• Integrate RNA and photobiomodulation strategies in research
• Guide and support lab trainees on interdisciplinary projects
Requirements:
• PhD in biophysics, biochemistry, or related biomedical field
• Expertise in developing pre-clinical models

• Strong interpersonal skills and project management experience
