Zymeworks is looking for a passionate Co-op Student to support its Protein Engineering team. You will gain valuable experience with purification techniques and protein characterization methods while preparing vital laboratory materials. This role emphasizes teamwork and accuracy as you maintain up-to-date records and follow established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support purification of recombinant proteins via chromatography

• Assist in characterizing proteins through multiple analytical methods

• Prepare necessary media and reagents for experiments

• Document methods and raw data thoroughly

• Help maintain laboratory functionality and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Currently studying Biochemistry, Immunology, or Biology

• Must commit to an 8-month co-op term

• Strong ability to collaborate in team settings

• Organizational skills with attention to detail

• Familiarity with protein structure is a plus
