In this role, you will support vital research by maintaining cell cultures and assisting with the characterization of proteins. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain mammalian cell cultures and support transient protein expressions

• Assist in characterizing recombinant proteins using SDS-PAGE and BLI

• Support plasmid preparation and stock lab consumables

• Ensure accurate documentation of methods and results

• Contribute to laboratory maintenance and compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

• Enrollment in Biology, Biochemistry, or related program

• At least 8-months availability for co-op term

• Familiarity with cell culture and protein expression techniques

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication abilities in team settings
