Ethereal Archives in Vancouver seeks a Provenance Research Intern to aid in documenting valuable luxury items. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in research and authentication.
As we approach our soft launch, we need a skilled intern to assist in cataloging the rich histories of fine watches, art, and jewellery. Working closely with the founding team, you'll engage in meticulous research for client documentation. This role may evolve into a longer-term position depending on the fit and workload.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate provenance and market value of luxury items
• Draft organized and informative summaries for records
• Analyze auction and sales data for appraisal purposes
• Handle and protect confidential client information
• Contribute to item photography if experienced
Requirements:
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Residing in or near Metro Vancouver
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong organization and detail orientation
• Preferred experience in photography
