The Tsang Laboratory, part of the Division of Cardiology at the University of British Columbia, seeks a passionate Research Manager. This role centers around projects that integrate health data and machine learning to tackle cardiovascular aging. You'll oversee research activities, support grant applications, and coordinate the VECTOR study aimed at enhancing genetic insight into cardiac health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement protocols and project plans
• Oversee multi-site research from conception to completion
• Secure funding and develop new grant applications
• Build collaborations with universities and health leaders
• Draft and edit scientific reports and presentations
Requirements:
• Experience in project management in research settings
• Strong background in health data or artificial intelligence
• Proven track record in grant writing and funding acquisition
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Ability to navigate regulatory environments and ethics applications
