WSP is seeking an Intermediate Social Scientist to enhance its BC Ecology and Environmental Impact Assessment team. This full-time position demands skills in social science methodologies and problem-solving.
Your role includes socio-economic research, collaboration with Indigenous communities, and supporting sustainability projects across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support socio-economic assessments for multiple sectors
• Conduct primary data collection and field work
• Analyze and report socio-economic research findings
• Assist in Indigenous and public engagement efforts
• Develop land and marine use management plans
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
• Degree in social science or natural resource management
• Proven social science research capabilities
• Experience with Indigenous communities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
