Process Development Scientist

Elevate biologic production at STEMCELL Technologies as a Process Development Scientist. Utilize your skills in upstream protein production to ensure efficient, compliant manufacturing.

As a member of the Process Development team, you will spearhead the upstream process development for proteins, guiding projects from design through scale-up. Working closely with engineers, scientists, and project teams, you will address technical challenges and introduce new workflows compliant with cGMP standards. Your analytical acumen will further enhance production effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for upstream processes

• Direct upstream development from design through technology transfer

• Analyze and present experimental data to project teams

• Participate in corrective action planning and implementation

• Collaborate with teams and CDMOs to improve processes

Requirements:

• 6+ years for Bachelor's, 4-8 years for Master's, or 2-5 years for PhD holders

• Expertise in mammalian cell lines for protein processes

• Experience with DoE and QbD principles

• Background in technology transfer to manufacturing facilities
