Holt Renfrew, a national luxury retailer, is seeking Loss Prevention Agents to protect store assets and ensure a safe environment for clients and associates.
Responsibilities- Open and close the store as scheduled following all Holt Renfrew procedures.
- Perform assigned operational and inventory control audits with follow up to ensure compliance.
- Support operations and sales teams with inventory counts, shortage programs and unsaleable articles.
- Perform routine floor walks and inspections to maintain business continuity and integrity.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Observe and dispatch by monitoring CCTV systems.
- Conduct internal and external investigations as required.
- Apprehend shoplifters while maintaining proof and precise investigation notes and documentation.
- Testify at criminal proceedings as appropriate.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.
- Respond to emergencies providing first aid and/or security procedures, following up with detailed reporting.
- Act as an advocate for Health and Safety in the store by attending monthly meetings and sharing with store team and new hires.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 1 year experience in a high paced Loss Prevention and/or Safety & Security role within a retail environment.
- Valid provincial security license in good standing upon hire.
- Valid standard first aid, CPR, and AED certificate(s) in good standing upon hire.
- Strong customer experience attitude and approachability as a luxury retail partner.
- Previous investigative and interview training is an asset.
- Problem solving and de‑escalation skills are an asset.
- Maintains clear field notes and daily communication logs.
- Maintains thorough, clear, and precise investigation reports.
- Contribution to controlling losses due to internal/external theft, fraud or accident.
- Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals.
- Reach short and long-term career goals through independent development.
Compensation range: $18.25 - $30.50 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and contributions.
