Support Holt Renfrew as an Assistant Buyer on a 12-month contract, specializing in purchasing and vendor management. Drive sales volume with your keen analytical skills and attention to detail.
In this contract role, you will work closely with the Buyer to ensure the timely execution of buying processes. Your responsibilities include monitoring sales performance, creating purchase orders, and collaborating with vendors. Adopt a data-driven approach to optimize inventory levels and streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor sales and margin performance against targets
• Create and maintain purchase orders and worksheets
• Review vendor confirmations for alignment with orders
• Conduct follow-ups with vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Support stock level analysis and reorder recommendations
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of retail or head office experience
• Knowledge of purchasing principles and retail math
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for fashion, sustainability, and luxury retail
