Shape product categories as a full-time Merchandiser with Sysco in Buckhead. Optimize inventory, pricing, and profitability while collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams for category growth.
Sysco is seeking a skilled Merchandiser responsible for managing procurement and inventory levels within the Center of the Plate portfolio. With a minimum of four years of experience, including protein category management, you'll analyze market trends to influence sales decisions and drive product availability. Your expertise will also support cross-functional strategies with Sales, Marketing, and vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inventory levels and pricing for product categories
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on promotions
• Analyze product performance and market trends
• Create weekly merchandising reports for oversight
• Negotiate local program agreements with vendors
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of merchandising experience
• At least 2 years in protein category management
• Strong understanding of commodity markets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
