Retail District Manager

Position: Retail District Manager – Greater
Take charge of retail excellence as a District Manager with Pet Valu in Greater Vancouver. Your leadership will drive sales, team development, and operational success across multiple stores.

In this position, you will report to the Regional Director while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales growth in your district. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating store managers, while overseeing financial performance and inventory management. Strong retail management experience is critical, alongside the ability to create effective staffing plans and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely filling of all vacancies within stores

• Conduct performance evaluations and address issues promptly

• Enforce health and safety protocols in all locations

• Monitor store adherence to corporate operational standards

• Coordinate store growth initiatives including makeovers

Requirements:

• Background in retail chain management, 2-3 years minimum

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Willingness to travel for store visits

• Strong prioritization and time management skills
